What is the classification of elevators?

There is no strict speed classification of elevators, and it is customary in China to classify them according to the following methods.

Low-speed elevators often refer to elevators with a speed of less than 1.00m/s.

Medium-speed ladder often refers to an elevator with a speed of 2.00~5.00m/s.

High-speed elevators often refer to elevators with a speed greater than 5.00~10.00m/s.

Ultra-high-speed elevators, elevators with a speed of more than 10.00m/s.

With the continuous development of elevator technology, the elevator speed is getting higher and higher, and the speed limit that distinguishes high, medium and low-speed elevators is also increasing accordingly.

With or without a driver

There is a driver elevator, and the operation mode of the elevator is completed by the operation of a full-time driver.

In the driverless elevator, the passenger enters the elevator car, presses the button on the floor that needs to go on the control panel, and the elevator automatically runs to the destination floor, and this kind of elevator generally has the function of group selection.

With or without a driver elevator, this type of elevator can change the control circuit, usually operated by passengers, in case of large passenger flow or if necessary, changed by the driver.
